An elite Achilles tour guide leads small groups on a casual running tour of San Francisco, stopping at sights to provide a rich oral history. Tours are not races, they are fun runs designed to keep the group together. Each tour is approximately 2 hours long with 30 minutes at the beginning for check-in, instructions and stretching. | Our most popular tour covers the most historical sites in just 4 miles! This exciting tour starts at the Ferry Building with a short warm up followed by a slow climb to the top of Coit Tower where we explore the myths, the history, and of course, the view! Then we descend through the rich culture heritage of North Beach and a fascinating jaunt through the streets of China Town. Our professional guides will take you to other famous landmarks such as Union Square and the Federal Building, all while sharing hidden SF gems along the way. |

Bridge Tour |
| The journey to the famous Golden Gate Bridge from the Ferry Building is an exciting and challenging 12 mile run on pavement along the Embarcadero and Marina Green; and on trails across Crissy Field to the first tower of the Golden Gate Bridge. After a rest stop at the Bridge Cafe we return to the Ferry Building through Fort Mason and the famous Fisherman's Wharf. |
